Today’s Encouragement is, “But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 NLT
You Are Mine –
God spoke these words to His people through David thousands of years ago. The message is still true for all of us who believe in Him. God created us all; He formed us all! But we are blessed to be among the people whom He has (already) ransomed and called by name! And we are His!
His chosen
His family
His adopted children
His redeemed
His forgiven
His eternally
He lives within us
And much, much more!
We are His!!!
Our identity has been changed.
We are new creations, our former life is gone, and our new life has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We no longer live but Christ lives in us! (Galatians 2:20)
And what is the new me? We are as Christ defines us! No longer defined by our past, our parents, our mistakes, sins, the abuse, betrayal, and abandonment of our past is gone! We are now defined by Him!
And He says to us – “Do not be afraid!”
Because we belong to Him!
Thank You, Father, for loving us and recreating us, and calling us Yours! Help us understand, accept, and embrace this truth, so that we rest in You and do not fear!
