Today’s Encouragement is John 20:31 NLT But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.
You will have life –
By believing in Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God … we have Life… by His powerful name.
Friends, the Life Jesus gives us:
Is Freedom – Gal 5:1a “So Christ has truly set us free”,
Is satisfying – John 10:10b “My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life”,
Is blessed (Matt 5:3), “God blesses those… who realize their need for Him.”
Is eternal (John 3:15) “Everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.”
and there is even more!
My friends, This Life – which we have because of Him – begins when we believe!
Father God, help us continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, Your Son, so that by believing, by our faith, that by the Power of His Name… we will know that we (already) have LIFE!
