Today’s Encouragement is John 15:15 (NLT) I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
you are my friends –
Imagine… we are FRIENDS of Jesus Christ! Wow! Consider that for just a moment. Think of the best friend you’ve ever had…multiply that love, affection, warmth, comfort, peace, happiness… by a hundred times, no, make that, a million times… (still not enough) and that is only getting a little closer to describing the incredibly rich, immeasurable relationship and bond between… you and Jesus. You are His Friend.
Remember His Love is a gift… we can never earn it… we are not worthy to be His friends… He Choose You and me to be His friends!
Remember it’s not about how you feel, (But I just don’t feel close to Jesus!!) No, it is a fact; a truth that Jesus has revealed to us. So, with this truth in your heart, turn your mind and spirit toward Him, and let Him be a real friend to you, and let Him be your very best and closest friend! He is always waiting patiently for you and me to come to Him.
Thank You Lord Jesus for choosing us as Your friends. Help me, to allow You, to draw me, ever closer to You.
