Today’s Encouragement is Colossians 1:22 NLT “Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.”
Without a single fault-
Did you hear that? Do you believe that?
It is one thing to recognize that we are saved, brought to a right relationship with God, because of Christ’s suffering and death for us. This is one thing. And we believe it, though at times it’s still hard to conceive of this incredible, unimaginable gift of forgiveness. Yet we know it is true, as believers, this is exactly, precisely what it is that – we believe!
Paul doesn’t stop there in his teaching to the believers who make up the church… he goes on to teach us… God has brought you into His OWN PRESENCE! This isn’t “one day”, “in the great beyond”, “someday, maybe, I hope…”, No! This is present, NOW!, God has NOW brought you into HIS PRESENCE!
AND my friends – as if being saved, reconciled, and brought into God’s Presence isn’t enough!… read it again carefully and slowly…
YOU are Holy and Blameless as you stand before the CREATOR, ALMIGHTY GOD…
Without – a – single – fault.
Really, is this true? Do You believe!
Father God, such kindness, and such power, to cleanse us completely, perfectly, forever… so that we are Just Like Jesus – holy, blameless and without a single fault as we stand in Your Presence… Help us to grasp the amazing Truth of the Cleansing Power of the blood of Jesus!
