Today’s Encouragement is Hebrews 1:3a NLT “The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command.”
He sustains everything –
Colossians 1 contains an amazing assessment of Jesus, who He is, and how essential he is to all of life, in verse 17 “He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.” He sustains everything and holds all creation together!
He’s not just God/Man who came to earth to buy us a ticket to Heaven, He’s not just a Great Teacher who had some really good sayings, He’s not just a healer or prophet or miracle worker…. He IS essential to LIFE.
Without Him, there would be nothing. John 1:4 NLT “The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.”
Whatever we need my friends… Jesus IS!
