Today’s Encouragement is Romans 4:20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,
Grew strong in his faith –
Growing is important my friends. We’re all either growing stronger or weaker every day. Physically it’s easy to see. When we’re active and healthy we grow stronger by this activity. When we’re sick, or sedentary, our health begins to deteriorate after a while. It’s not necessarily immediate, but it is inevitable.
And this same process is true for our spiritual health. Now, we don’t become saved through our actions but by the Free gift of God’s Grace. But once saved, we are responsible for our spiritual growth!
And as this verse clearly states, our faith grows strong as we give glory to God!
How do we give God glory? Acknowledge Him, Recognize Him, Praise Him, Honor Him with your life, your work, your words, your devotion. All these are giving Him Glory!
