Today’s Encouragement is Luke 17:20-21 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, [21] nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
In the midst –
The kingdom of God is not external, political, temporal or physical…
The Greek word translated as ‘midst’ can also be translated as ‘within’. The Kingdom of God is within you and me and it is Eternal. It is more ‘real’ than – this physical life, the earth beneath your feet, the food you eat. There are no limits, no time, no confusion, no regrets, no shame, no tears within God’s Kingdom. Jesus reigns as King in this kingdom, and my friends, it is where we belong.
Father, open our eyes to the true reality, to Your Kingdom, Your realm; Your reign!
This Kingdom
