Today’s Encouragement is Psalms 71:22-24 “I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel. [23] My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you, I whom you have delivered. [24] My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.”
Tell of Your righteous acts all day long –
Praising God is not just singing! Here David also described praise as speaking of God’s goodness- all day long!
Now, I truly love to sing God’s praises! And yet, that isn’t the only way to praise Him. He is also praised when we tell others of His goodness, His Love, the blessings He has given us, reminding them of the Hope He offers to us, His precious promises for us, and most importantly – the free gift of salvation for all who believe!
Praise Him in Song! Yes! And also Praise Him all day long by telling of His righteous acts!
Lord help us to praise You, in every way, as is only fitting for Your Indescribable Goodness and Glory!
