Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 103:2-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, [3] who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, [4] who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, [5] who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Bless the Lord –
It is good to pause from our daily stuff, all the chores and necessary but routine details of this life, just for a moment… as you are doing just now… to consider – God.
Take this moment to express your gratitude, thanking and honoring Him for these blessings, these benefits, these gifts He has given us, to all His children.
He:
Forgives all our sins: our failures, faults, willful or unintended – all!
Heals all our diseases: He is our healer, using doctors and medicine or His divine power… He is the only true source of wholeness and health!
He redeems us from the pit of our own way and the results of our sinful nature, sets us free from our well-deserved imprisonment in the pit of despair.
He crowns us with steadfast love and mercy… not only does God allow us to have His love and Mercy… He crowns us with it! We are publicly recognized by Him as His own… and granted the eternal privilege of being part of His family… crowned with love and mercy… and
He satisfies us with Good:
Because we are His own family, He causes us to be satisfied, content, at peace with the ‘Good’ that is in His Kingdom, we can recognize and appreciate Good all around us. So that, by all these sources of refreshment, blessing, honor, unlimited Grace… our spirit, our youthful soul, is renewed and can soar through this life as the eagle soars through the sky, above the dust, dirt and tears of this earthly existence.
This is our God. This is who we are in Him. These are just a few of …”ten thousand reasons” why we…
Praise Him, Bless Him, Worship Him!
Ten thousand reasons
