Be Strong

Today’s Encouragement is Joshua 1:9 NKJV “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Be Strong-

We decide, my friends, to be strong, courageous, unafraid, and resolute… or to be weak, discouraged, afraid and dismayed… or anywhere in between.  And our decision is influenced primarily by what we believe about God.

When we believe as this verse says, God is with us wherever we go, then courage naturally follows. Believing what God says gives us strength.

Because- He is for us, He loves us, He has good plans for us, He calls us His own, and most amazing – He created a way for us to be set free from all our sin through the sacrificial death of His Son, Jesus!

My friend, what more proof of His immeasurable Love for us could we ask or imagine?

Is this what we believe? What we decide daily is God’s Truth for us?

When (not if) we decide to embrace His Truth, His perfect Love for us… then our peace, our strength, our hope, our confidence, our courage, our contentment will follow.

As we hold to His Truth… we are strong in His strength.

  1. Boy!  That song!  Do you find those first and then write the encouragement?

    1. Lol. I write the devotional first then look for the song. Occasionally the song is the inspiration, but 99% of the time it’s the scripture.

Yes she is very gifted. Really like her music. They’ve done dozens of such scripture songs on YouTube. TruthSongs
