Today’s Encouragement is Mark 4:30-32 And he said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it? 31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, 32 yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.”
The Kingdom of God –
Is it possible that the Kingdom of God is the realm of obedience to Him, the Kingdom where we ‘make nests in its shade’, live under His laws, where His truth applies, where He guards the boundaries, where no evil can enter, where we do His will and abide within Him? Could this be His kingdom?
A spiritual matter, a spiritual place, a kingdom not of this world but of our hearts and minds and spirits. Where we spiritually dwell; ‘make nests in its shade’ and protection.
My friends when we choose to believe, to obey, to respond to God’s words of truth and direction and clarity, we then live in His Kingdom under His rule and protection. When people refuse to trust Him, to remain obstinate, hard-hearted, uncaring, then they have chosen to remain outside of His Kingdom, his rule and protection.
Father God thank you for the blessing of living within Your Kingdom.
