I have surely seen

Today’s Encouragement is Exodus 3:7-8a Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings, [8] and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey, 

I have surely seen – 

God said to Moses from the burning bush, “I have surely 1) seen the affliction of my people, I have 2) heard their cry for help, I 3) know their suffering … and I have 4) come down to deliver!” 

Gods is not unaware, not disinterested, He is not far off from us, from our affliction our cries for help, our pain.  

He sees you! 

He hears you! 

He knows you! 

And my friend… He will come!

Lord God, we wait on You.  Only You can provide for us the precise help we need, the precise help we seek, the precise relief we need from our suffering, at precisely the right moment… only You can do this.  Help us to wait in hope and trust, as we continue to ask… Even So, Lord please come, we need You, always.
