Today’s Encouragement is Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
His Mercies are new every morning –
We sometimes just get tired of ourselves. We give up trying, we quit too easily. Our failures, especially spiritual, seem to be the norm, a pattern of failure as we strive to ‘do better’ to live a Christian life.
And yet – Into the midst our failure, our struggle, our despair, comes the Mercy of God… every morning, renewed, inexhaustible, Mercy without end, always new, always available, always able to address our need. This is God’s steadfast Love… unending… and regenerating daily.
Father Your Mercy, Your Love, is more than we can comprehend with our human understanding… help us to accept Your gifts by faith, our simple child-like faith. You are who You say You are, and You will do what You say You will do. We choose to believe, to trust, to rest in Your inexhaustible mercy and love.
