NOW

Today’s Encouragement is Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

The Life I NOW live – 

New Life!  Every Day!  NOW – His love and His mercies are new every morning! (Lam 3:23) 

Friends, we are FREE from our past, free from yesterday, our childhood, our addictions, destructive habits…. they may try to sneak back in, but we are free from these because we are in Christ.  Since we have been crucified with Him, the past self, the old me, is dead – powerless.   NOW, today, this moment, we can breathe in the new Life in Christ.   

This new life, which we are NOW living is His, belongs to Him.  When we choose to live His life each day, we say NO! to our old self, our old flesh who tries (relentlessly, it seems) to come back and control us.  But remember that old life has no power, no strength, no hold on you… You NOW live a NEW LIFE!  And, it is NEW for you every day, every moment.  

Lord, we choose Now to live Your life – please help us to do so.
