Today’s Encouragement is, “There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?” John 14:2 NLT
My Father’s Home –
Each verse of scripture is bursting with wonderful truths!
In this final message to His followers (including you and me), Jesus offers some amazing insight into our eternal home.
He speaks about His Father’s House. Not a city, a country, or a vague ‘place’, but a personal, family home, intimate, safe, peaceful, controlled, and made safe by our Father. We will not live in the neighborhood, down the block, or across town from God, but in His Home!
It is very roomy! More than enough room! Not crowded, but spacious and comfortable.
And Jesus Himself has already gone there – to prepare –
a place for us! He personally has prepared it! He could’ve said, “I’ve instructed the angels to squeeze you in somewhere in my Father’s house,” but Jesus always used the right words to convert His message! He has prepared, Jesus has, a place for us in God’s home!
Stay with this. If it is God’s Home; if Jesus Himself has prepared it, if it is uniquely for us. How wonderful might it be?
In our wildest imagination of this place, which Jesus has prepared for us, it is even more astounding! “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9b NLT
Thank You, Jesus, for revealing such beautiful hope-filled truth! Help us joyfully look forward to our new home, which You have prepared for us in our Father’s House!
