Today’s Encouragement is, “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” 2 Peter 3:9 NLT
He Is Patient-
God has patience with us, even with those who do not acknowledge Him. He doesn’t want anyone to die without His truth. He is not slow… His perspective of time is eternal; ours is extremely limited.
While sometimes we may think He doesn’t hear, or doesn’t respond… remember this:
He is not slow – He is patient – He keeps His promises. Forever and Amen.
Thank You, Lord, for your patience with all of us. Help me to also be patient, both with myself and others. And also, help me be patient with You, Lord; help me trust Your perfect timing and wisdom. And thank You also, Lord, for keeping Your beautiful promises to Your children.
