Today’s Encouragement is, “Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly.” Ephesians 1:15-16 NLT
Pray For You Constantly –
Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus. He was impressed by their Faith in Jesus and by their Love for God’s people. He was so impressed that He thanked God continuously and prayed for them constantly.
Paul is certainly a model for us to consider as we follow Jesus.
Imagine yourself in Paul’s position, speaking to others who follow Christ, to encourage them in their faith and love.
Who are they? Whose faith in Jesus and Love for His people has caused us to thank God without stopping, and to pray for them constantly?
If you know even a few such believers, you are very blessed. These people encourage, strengthen, and support our faith! And yet, their lives are just as human as ours are! We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). Still, some people excel in Faith and love, and my friend, you and I can too!
When we pray for others, we bring them to God, their needs, circumstances, and hopes. As His sons and daughters, we ask our Father to help them. He knows exactly how to do that, the best way, the best time, and He has the power to do what they (we) need. And He responds in His Love.
Father, thank You for the incredible privilege of Prayer, for the ability to come to You at any time with our hopes, needs, desires, questions, challenges, and concerns. Help us to pray constantly.
