Today’s Encouragement is, “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:7 NLT
Overflow With Thankfulness-
Thankfulness is the hallmark of strong faith, overflowing our hearts and minds into the lives of those around us. Filled to overflowing!
We can be grateful for the immeasurable and eternal blessings we now already have in Christ: eternal life, salvation, forgiveness, rebirth, and even more! Christ has already provided this for all who believe and trust Him. And our proper response is overflowing Thankfulness and overwhelming Gratitude for the abundance of blessings He has already provided!
Of course, we all still have needs; we pray diligently for God to provide these things, sometimes for things that often seem impossible. “But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:26b
And what we don’t yet have (not yet), this God has promised to provide us. “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.
All your needs!
Our Father, thank You that our Faith is strongly rooted in You, our lives are built on You, we are strong in Truth, and so we can overflow with Thankfulness for what You have already provided and for all You have promised. Please, help us to see how incredibly blessed we already are.
