Today’s Encouragement is, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
A New Creation –
You are a new person, a completely new creation, transformed from your old self (which is now dead) into a new person.
And whether we accept or believe this, it is Truth. You, your parents, teachers, counselors, spouse, and your children may have an opinion of who you are… but only God knows the Truth, and He says – This is who you are!
Read it out loud and choose to believe what God has said about you!
- I am God’s child (John 1:12), blood bought (1 Cor 6:20), sanctified (Heb 10:10), justified (Ro 5:1), made Righteous by the Blood of Jesus (Ro 5.9), and filled with Your Holy Spirit (John 14:16).
- No weapon formed against me will prevail (Is 54:17); You are my Ever-Present Help in time of trouble (Ps 46:1). You will never leave me nor forsake me (Heb 13:5).
- You have Good Plans for me, plans to bless me, to give me a hope and a future (Jer 29:11).
- I am more than a Conqueror (Ro 8:37). I have been given a spirit of power, love, and self-control, and not of fear! (2 Tim 1:7). I have the Mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16). I am the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21).
- Without You I can do nothing (John 15:5), but I can do all things through Christ who gives me Strength (Phil 4:13).
Thank You, Father God, for the new identity, the new creation that You have made us!
