Today’s Encouragement is, “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you.” Numbers 6:25 NLT
Smile On You –
The Amplified translation reads, “Make His face shine on you [with favor].”
Can you envision that? God turning His head to look directly at you, smiling, with favor and perfect love in His eyes! Do we dare to accept this?
Remember, His nature is Love (1 John 4:8). He showed His love for us even while were still sinners (Romans 5:8).
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)
My friend, we are made righteous, right with God, perfectly good in His sight, by Jesus! “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
So, today, when God looks at you and me, because we trust in Jesus, we can be confident that we are perfectly right, accepted, loved, and at peace with God!
And He smiles! The Perfect Father smiles at His perfectly loved child.
How can we thank You enough, Father, for Your amazing love? Help us to see with eyes of faith, Your acceptance, immeasurable love, and Your smile!
