Kind To Others –
We often exert judgment on God’s actions. Thinking this or that is unfair, unreasonable, or even unkind. We see some people blessed in many ways and think, “They don’t deserve that!” or we see someone suffering terribly and think the same way.
We act as if we see the entire picture, as if we know best, and as if God should judge others as we do!
But my friend, God’s way is not our way! Our sense of justice is not His! Our human logic doesn’t constrain or define Him. He is above and beyond our human thoughts!
This verse explains succinctly, “’ My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,’ says the LORD. ‘And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
Our human ability limits our understanding and sense of justice. But God’s ways, His Justice, His generosity, even to those we deem unworthy… this is His to give!
We expect Him to feel, act, judge, and think like we do! We are too often jealous because He is kind to others! But He is God, and we are not! He decides; we accept.
Thank You, Father, for explaining that Your ways, thoughts, emotions, judgment, generosity, and Love are infinitely higher than ours! You are God Alone!
