Today’s Encouragement is, “For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3-4 NLT
Hidden with Christ –
Remember hide-and-go-seek? Ever hide with someone? If so, you’ll recall being quiet, close together, whispering secretly, hiding – together.
The Greek word translated here as hidden can also be “concealed” or “secret.”
My friend, our real life is concealed, hidden, and secret; it is “with Christ” and “IN God.”
We are that important to Him! We are sheltered, safely separated from everything else, and kept safe together with Jesus!
Is it possible?
Is this true?
Consider these similar thoughts:
“How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings,” Matthew 23:37
“He will shelter you with His wings.” Psalm 91:4
“The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior” 2 Samuel 22:2 NLT
Only when we consider that God has hidden and concealed us with Jesus do we begin to understand how protected and honored we are and how intimate, wonderful, and far beyond our complete comprehension is God’s love for each of us.
Dear Father, Your Word reveals Truth in innumerable ways. You continuously create new revelation for us as we consider Your Word, Your ways, and Your Truth. Thank You for every blessing, new and old, mysterious or familiar. You are truly unlimited. Thank You for hiding us with Christ!
You are My Hiding Place
Selah

Amen. God’s protective shield surrounds us and gives meaning to this temporary life.
Thank you.
