New Every Morning

Today’s Encouragement is, “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV

New Every Morning –

God’s mercy, His Grace, and forgiveness, based in His Love, which never ceases, never stops, and is without limit, inexhaustible, and inexplicable…. This Mercy is new every morning for you, me, and all who believe in Him.  

Why would it need to be ‘new’?  Perhaps because we used up so much of his mercy the day before! 

Jesus was resurrected early in the morning (Matthew 28:1).  He was a New being, so much so that Mary didn’t immediately recognize Him! (John 20:14)

Is it possible, my friend, that every morning… we can be reborn, cleansed, made new, even ‘resurrected’ to new life?  

Since we now know that God’s Mercy is New Every Morning and that Mercy is specifically, intentionally targeted for you and me… Then, every morning, we who believe are essentially re-born to new life, totally free, clean, and New! 

Sometimes we think we need a fresh start… well, my friend, we already have it!  

This morning is not just a new day or a new year; it is a new You! 

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT

Thank You, Father, for Your new mercy, a new start, and a new life every morning.  Help us to live entirely free from the past, to embrace and enjoy the perfect freedom of Your New Mercy each day. Thank You, Jesus, for re-creating us each day.
