Today’s Encouragement is, “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NLT
No Other Name –
“Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6 NLT
Of all the Truths presented in the Bible, this one is Supreme.
Only the Name of Jesus! He is the only way; His name alone will save us.
This Name is above all names; He is King of all kings and Lord of all lords.
We curse with the Name. We express our shock, dismay, and anger and abuse the name without thought, awareness, or concern. Why that name? Some are reluctant to speak the Name. Some shy away from it as if it were politically incorrect (and it is!).
But for us as believers – in this Name. It is Supreme, it is Power, it is Strength, Hope, and the only direct connection to our Creator, Eternal Father.
Jesus said, “Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” John 14:14 NLT
We may not see it right away or understand how He will do it, when, where, or even why. But He said it repeatedly. Ask – IN MY NAME.
When we pray, we can close each prayer with “I ask in Jesus’ Name.” When we pray in Jesus’ Name, by faith in Him and His Name… it’s as if Jesus Himself is praying, asking God the Father for us.
Thank You, Father, for the Name of Jesus, for allowing us to ask You in His Name.
No other Name
