You Will Have Life

Today’s Encouragement is, “But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.” John 20:31 NLT

You will have life –

John, a dear personal friend of Jesus, sums up this most comprehensive book on the earthly life of Jesus with these words…

As if to say, I wrote this entire book for this reason…

That you would believe that Jesus is the Messiah-

And because of that belief in Him, you will have life in His Name.

Not just any life, barely breathing, or merely existing, but – life in, through, and from – His Name.

The Name of Jesus… when believed and recognized appropriately, has ultimate power!  Power to give us, who choose to believe, Life.

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 NLT

No other way, no other truth, no other life.  Only Jesus!

But what a Life He offers, brings us, and gives freely to those who believe!  Eternal, Abundant, Full, the best Life!

Thank You, our Father, for giving us this indescribable gift of Life in Jesus’ Name. We are humbled to accept it. Please continue to reveal to us the true measure of this Life that You have given us.
