Today’s Encouragement is Hebrews 12:1 NLT Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
Crowd of Witnesses –
Ever think about yourself – in relation to all other believers at this moment in time?
We are surrounded, part of this huge crowd… of witnesses to the life of Faith.
And we are all witnesses of God’s existence, His love, mercy, power, and His Amazing grace.
So, as we go to Him in prayer… we are joined by millions of our family of faith, this huge crowd… surrounding us, who are also praying! Perhaps a similar prayer, perhaps something completely different, but praying just the same.
Now take another step with me, please. Is it possible, that as you and I go to God in prayer… we are joined, not only by the millions of believers who are praying at this very moment, but by the millions or billions who have ever prayed, over the centuries… to our God (the only true God!
We are not alone!
We are surrounded by believers!
Father thank You for this message, that we are surrounded by untold numbers of believers, of today, yesterday, and eternity… who are also seeking You as diligently as we are.
