Today’s Encouragement is Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
A Child is Born –
Ever think about why are there so many names used for Jesus?
Because no one name can describe Him.
There is one name, which is special to me, though each one carries such depth… and that is Immanuel. It means, God-With-Us. The perfect name for the Son of God, who was birthed, lived, died, and returned to life on this earth 2000 years ago. He’s just as present today, living within His Children, you, and me… as He was then. His comforting presence and His unlimited Grace are just as abundant and clear.
Father God, thank You for Jesus, for Your beautiful plan, Your indescribable gift, Your undeserved mercy, grace, and Your perfect Love – extended freely to all who accept it, through our Savior, Your Son, Jesus – Immanuel – God with us.
