Today’s Encouragement is, “Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.”1 John 4:18 NLT
Love Has No Fear –
We’ve just discussed that “God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.” (V 16-17). This is the description of God-Love we are learning about. And His Love has No Fear!
Fear is powerless against Faith. God’s Love creates our Faith and strengthens our hearts against the evil in this world.
When we embrace the Love of God, accept and remember and live in Him (v16), then my friend, fear has no place to hide, no hold on our lives. Because Perfect Love expels, drives out, even defeats All Fear.
This is God’s Truth; His Word proclaiming His Truth to those who have ears to hear.
We can choose to live All-In; to have Faith in His Perfect Love, live in Him, and be free from all fear. Or we can choose to believe that God is Good, He loves us, but… He might not always be there when we need Him, and we hold on to our fear.
Our choice.
Thank You, Father, that we can accept Your Perfect Love, and live in You, and live free from sin and fear. Help us to choose the Perfect Love and Freedom that You have provided for us as Your dearly loved people.
