Today’s Encouragement is, “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.” Romans 6:14 NLT
Under Grace –
(Maybe you missed it like I did so many times) –
We live under the freedom of God’s Grace. Now!
Because of this Truth – We are no longer under the Law. Instead, because of Jesus, we are under Grace! “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:17 ESV. Grace came to us through Jesus. And because we are under Grace, Sin is no longer our master!
Jesus changed everything!
He didn’t erase anything; instead, He completed everything!
He fulfilled all the prophecies of the Old Testament.
He fulfilled all the requirements of the Old Testament’s laws.
He brought us a new commandment to Love God and others.
He defeated Sin, and it is no longer the master of those who live under Grace (the unmerited favor, blessing, and love of God through Jesus).
Thank You, Father, for Your Grace. Through Jesus, You have set us free from the mastery of Sin. You have purchased us eternally for Yourself. Please help us to accept and embrace the freedom of Your perfect Grace.
