Today’s Encouragement is, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:22 ESV
In Full Assurance –
Our faith is our assurance. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 ESV
We can, we are able to draw near to God “in Full Assurance”!
We aren’t just ‘hoping to be saved’; we aren’t a ‘maybe, if I’m good enough’; we aren’t ‘trying really hard to make it to heaven.’ These are all completely wrong ideas!
We can have Full Assurance by faith, trusting completely in Jesus, not trying by our own strength and good deeds! It is His goodness that saves us, not ours!
So, we have Full Assurance! Because Jesus has already done it.
And his Full Assurance includes “our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Our conscience (clearly acknowledged as evil) has been ALREADY cleansed! Our bodies (stained with sin) have been ALREADY washed clean also!
Please don’t miss this! Jesus has already done this for us! Simply because we trust in Him and place our Faith in Him alone!
Be Fully Assured!
Thank You, Father, for Your Grace, the overwhelming, perfect, complete plan of salvation that You have provided for everyone who believes in Jesus. You didn’t have to do this. You are so loving.
