Today’s Encouragement is “Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold that they refine.” Job 28:1 ESV
A Place For Gold –
In this chapter, Job speaks of wisdom, which cannot be found on this earth; even looking into the depths of the earth, where gold and silver are mined, will not lead you to it.
But God’s Wisdom is available to us today, more than to any other generation on this earth! The Bible contains God’s Wisdom, just as the earth contains gold and silver. Just as precious metals and jewels are mined from the earth, so also is wisdom mined from God’s Word. However, we must look for it! We must know what to look for… and then diligently search!
Open the Word, ask God to speak to you through His Holy Spirit and His Word. He will! – Because He loves you and He desires for you to know Him more! Allow His Word to teach you His Wisdom, His Way, His Love, His Power, His Grace. It only requires a little effort, a little time, a little intentional seeking… to ‘mine the gold and silver’, to discover His Infinite Truth, Measureless Love, Amazing Grace, and so much more!
Father God, we thank You for the Gift of Eternal Life through Jesus! We thank You for Your Word that leads us to Him, that draws us to You, that guides us in wisdom and love. You are so very good to us!
