Today’s Encouragement is, [Jesus said,] “But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” John 4:14 NLT
The Water I Give –
Each day, we have the privilege of drinking the living water of Jesus. We can go to the well of God’s Word to taste the pure, cleansing, and holy water of Truth.
This devotional is only a small cup of that water, just enough to refresh us and whet our appetite for more of His refreshing living water. The cup is not significant, nor the one who carries it, but the water is Life, Eternal, Pure, and True. And just a taste of His Living Water awakens our spirit and enlivens our hearts.
God’s word is Truth; there is no substitute. And Jesus Himself is the Living Water and the Living Word of God. He is what we need! And He alone brings abundant and eternal life!
Thank you, Jesus, for offering us Your living water. Help us to drink from Your cup each day, and to receive Your priceless gift of abundant and eternal Life! We choose to trust in You.
