Today’s Encouragement is, “So Moses said to the people, ‘On this day in early spring, in the month of Abib, you have been set free.’” Exodus 13:4 NLT
Have Been Set Free –
In Exodus, we learn of the terrible oppression of God’s people. And God’s compassion towards them. And He sends Moses, the deliverer.
The ultimate Bible truth is Jesus, God sent the Deliverer, who came to set His people Free! [Jesus said,] “The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.” Luke 4:18 NLT
There are numerous parallels between the Exodus and our redemption and salvation.
We can learn a great deal of truth about our journey as Christ-followers from reading Exodus. We see there how the people doubted, grumbled, rebelled, and suffered, and also how they obeyed, followed, and were blessed!
The Bible is full of types, symbols, and other messages that point to our ultimate salvation through Jesus. We are privileged to have the entire book, encompassing the complete picture of God’s interaction with His chosen people, in one comprehensive volume. It is all one message.
We all need a Savior to set us free.
In Love, God provides us freedom through the perfect, ideal Savior.
We can choose to accept the Savior.
We can rest in the freedom, Love, and Grace of the Savior!
We Have Been Set Free!
God is That Good! His Love is That Good!
Father, we thank You for the amazing message of Life and Salvation, Hope and Love, and truly, everything we need, provided in the Bible.
