Today’s Encouragement is, “Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one-for God himself has given us right standing with himself.” Romans 8:33 NLT
Whom God Has Chosen –
God has chosen us. This is already done. Jesus bought us with His life, His blood. We are God’s Own! Adopted into His family, and each of us is dearly known and loved.
And God has given us (no one can earn it) right standing with Himself, which is often called righteousness.
Now, who is going to accuse us? Who is going to attack God’s dearly loved people?
There is one who doesn’t recognize the Truth, who loves to accuse! “For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth- the one who accuses them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:10b NLT
Remember that the religious authorities falsely accused Jesus, and today, believers everywhere are often still accused. But God says – none of our enemy’s accusations will stand! Because Jesus has paid the price for all our wrongs!
Satan is described as the Father of Lies and the Accuser. Is it possible that all accusations and all lies originate from him?
When someone accuses you (it may be true or false), recognize the source! And remember that no one can effectively accuse a child of God because God has chosen us and given us right standing before Him!
This Truth was foretold by Isaiah centuries before. “But in that coming day (Jesus’ day), no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. Isaiah 54:17a
Thank You, Father, for vindicating, choosing, and giving us Your merciful Grace, the gift of right standing with You!
