Today’s Encouragement is, “And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.” Romans 8:10 NLT
Christ Lives Within You –
Please understand, the letter to the Romans (like the entire Bible) was written to and for ordinary people, all who would, did, do, or will believe in God! The Word is not directed only to a few select ‘super-Christians’, the really good people that we often think of as the early church. They were just like us! They were believers in Christ, but still ordinary people!
And Christ lives within us!
The Spirit of God gives us Eternal Life!
We have already, now, and eternally, been made right with God! Jesus did that for us because without Him, we can never be right with God.
Please don’t dismiss this Truth. Jesus is Alive now. He lives within You. He has made you right with God. Further… He has good plans for you, ‘to give you hope and a future.’ (Jeremiah 29:11) He is your protector and provider. He is your guide.
Thank You, Father, for the unimaginable gift of Your Spirit, Jesus, living within us. We confess that we don’t understand it, but by faith, we choose to believe in You. Help us today to listen to Your Spirit as You lovingly guide and strengthen us.
