Today’s Encouragement is, “Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” Colossians 3:16 NLT
Fill Your Lives –
As we read, think about, and meditate on His word, we open our minds and hearts to the fullness of the message He wants to convey to us. Then we are allowing His message, “in all its richness,” to fill our lives; His Truth becomes the guiding light of our lives. We also help each other to understand His wisdom, and we turn to Him in worship and praise with grateful hearts. It’s not impossible, and it’s a joyful way to live!
Consider that any loving human parent sincerely longs to communicate truth and wisdom to their child. It’s an innate desire, even a desperate need, to impart knowledge and truth to their loved ones, to spare them the grief of mistakes, allow them to move unencumbered through their lives. Filled with all the truth and wisdom the parent can impart.
And God is our Father! His love far outweighs our ability to love, just as His wisdom does. Isn’t it obvious that He longs for us to hear, learn, absorb, and live out His Truth and wisdom through our lives? Filling our lives with His message, wisdom, and Truth!
Thank You, Father, for your amazing Love for us, that you would instruct us in the way to live, so clearly, so carefully, and so kindly. Thank You for making a way, through Jesus, for us to be right with You eternally, allowing us to become new creations, and filling our lives with Your Truth and Love.
