Today’s Encouragement is, “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. “ 1 Peter 3:18 NLT
Once For all –
Once – There will be no other sacrifice, punishment, or atonement. Not from God or from any human. This will never be repeated, replaced, or reversed. It will never need to be. Christ’s sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection were and are for all time, perfect, complete, and final.
For all people – everyone who believes and calls on His Name will be saved. God so loved – the world – that whoever believes in Him be saved by faith in Jesus!
For all time – There is no more that can be done. The work of providing a way, The Way, for us to be saved, is Finished! It is Done!
Thank You, Lord, for Your Immeasurable Mercy! You have brought us “safely home” to Yourself! You have given us Life – Abundant and Eternal, and Hope, Strength, Peace, Joy, and Love… and everything we need, for this life and forever… Once For All!
