Today’s Encouragement is, “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7 NLT
Let your roots grow down –
We are saved when God calls us to Himself through the Grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ, and we respond with “Yes Lord.” And that is our Salvation!
Now we can continue to follow, grow deeper into Him, into His Truth, into a relationship with Jesus, and so, our lives are built upon Jesus! And as we do, our Faith will grow, and we will overflow… with gratitude! We’ll have so much gratitude to God that it will overflow and spill onto those around us!
Is this our desire, to be strong in the Truth, and to overflow with Gratitude? Then my friend, build your life on Jesus, grow deeper and deeper roots into Him, relationship with Him and His Truth, Mercy, Grace, and Compassion…all that He is!
It’s all about Jesus! Build your life on Him!
Father God, thank You for the salvation You have provided us through faith in Christ! Help us now to grow in Faith, in relationship with Jesus, so deep that our lives are built upon Him, the Solid Rock.
