Bring the boy to me –
After all other efforts of the family and even Jesus’ disciples had failed. Jesus stepped in! He took command; remember, He is King of Kings! He spoke, and people obeyed, evil spirits obeyed, even the wind and the waves obeyed!!!
Just as four people brought/carried their lame friend to Jesus (Mark 2:3), and as this boy was brought to Him… we have this same privilege today! Can bring our friends, our needs, our hopes, and dreams… to Jesus! Anytime, Anywhere, Anything…
We are granted VIP status! We are His family! We are allowed to bring Him anything and everything! Our own needs, our friends’ needs. There is nothing (did you hear that?) Nothing too big or too small, too important or too trivial, too easy or too difficult… that we cannot bring to Him.
My friend, what is it that you need to bring to Him now? What burden, shame, habit, addiction, fear, or hope do you need to bring to Him? He’s able to handle it; no one else can.
Thank You, Father, for allowing us the privilege of bringing any and everything to Jesus, the Lord of All! We thank You and trust You with everything.
