Today’s Encouragement is, “May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.” Numbers 6:26 NLT
His Favor –
We can easily imagine God showing His favor to ‘really good people’ like Mother Teresa and Billy Graham. But to me?
Yes! To you and me!
Remember that there is nothing you or I can do, good or bad, to either increase or decrease God’s perfect Love for us.
Please let that sink in for a moment, even if you disagree. His Favor is not conditional; it does not depend upon our behavior, attitude, or actions.
We are accepted. But much more than that, in God’s sight and perspective, and only because of our faith in Jesus, we are saved and made perfectly right with God, by Faith in Him (Romans 5:1).
He will show us how much He favors us, as we trust Him. And eternally, His favor is assured!
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” John 14:2-3 NLT
We will always be with Jesus! Not just in Eternity… but now… always. “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20b
Father, we confess it is beyond our ability to fully comprehend that we have Your Favor. We do understand that Jesus does, of course. Please help us also realize that You see us through Jesus, and that You favor us, just as You favor Him!
