Everything We Need –
Imagine having everything you need. Not only physical needs but emotional and spiritual needs, all satisfied. It may be somewhat surprising to learn that we already do! He has given us, already. We now have everything that ‘we need to live “a godly life.” Please explain to me – what else really matters?
We may not ‘feel’ like we have everything, but our feelings aren’t our true reality. Being unaware of our blessings doesn’t make us impoverished. But ignorance of, or worse, rejection of the blessings God has provided us, refusing to search for His Hand at work in our lives, will make us destitute.
Gratitude is thankfulness for what God has given us (everything) and what He has prepared for us (1 Corinthians 2:9). Choose to recognize and be grateful for what you have now, because it is everything you need.
Lord God, open our eyes and hearts to the amazing blessings You have given us, Your dearly loved children. Please help us to be grateful.
