My Words Will Never –
What a fantastic thought! Jesus’ words will never disappear, even though all of creation does!
In our world, we are surrounded and even bombarded by words. We hear words from influential people and loud people. One example of the insanity of misusing words in our time is the two or three ‘talking heads’ on TV or social media, both speaking simultaneously, arguing their positions… and no one is listening! Social Media is filled with words, talk, and opinions. Some present facts, some are fiction, and it’s becoming more and more difficult to discern one from the other! Both sides point to each other and scream, “Fake News!”
Who can you trust?
How about some Eternal Words? Words that will never pass away.
There’s a good reason John described Jesus as “The Word” in his first chapter. Jesus is the Eternal Word of God. Who He was, and who He is, and whom He forever will be… is God’s Word to humanity. Everything He said, did, and still speaks and does… can be trusted. And He is Eternal; His words are Eternal, timeless, perfect, and trustworthy.
Jesus said, “God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:17
We are saved through Jesus! Just one excellent example of His words, which will never disappear!
Thank You, Father, for Jesus. He is Your Word to us. He is our Hope and our Savior.
