Today’s Encouragement is, “One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.” Luke 18:1 NLT
Always pray –
If we believe that:
God hears prayer.
God loves his people.
God has good plans for us.
God guides, feeds, shepherds, and cares for His own.
God is all-powerful, all-wise, and eternal (Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent).
Then, my friend, what greater honor, gift, or blessing could we possibly give another person… than to pray for them?
As we bring another person’s name, needs, and pleas to God Himself, we engage in worship; we acknowledge that God can, and we cannot, that He knows, and we do not.
Make a prayer list! Remember to include yourself and all the others that God brings to your mind and heart. Pray for their salvation, healing, freedom from addiction, relief of pain, strength, and hope. Pray for anything and everything. There is nothing too great or too small to ask of our God! Your list need not be too detailed, for He already knows everything. Yet we often forget too quickly, so include a reminder or two. Then, daily, read through and pray through your prayer list.
He hears, He knows, He understands, and He cares!
It’s untrue, “The least I can do is pray for you.” No!
The most incredible, most important, and kindest thing we can do for anyone… is to Pray For Them!
[And I would be honored to pray with you, anytime and always; just reply to this message.]
Thank You, Loving Father, for always hearing our prayers and for the incredible privilege of prayer!
Don’t Stop Praying
