Children of God –
The Bible is very clear; it repeatedly states that you and I are God’s children. We are chosen, selected, adopted, and accepted into His family. We’re cleansed and made perfectly right in His sight because of our faith in Jesus.
Please step into this with me a little deeper. Because you are God’s son or daughter, He loves you infinitely more than any earthly parent ever could. His love for you is perfect and complete, without a flaw. He also knows you perfectly and completely, yet He chooses to see you only through the light of Jesus’ perfection. No sin, no stain, no memory of our filthy past, is present in His perfect knowledge of you! (Unimaginable, isn’t it?)
And while we are only one of all believers of all time, a great cloud of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1), we also are, individually, His. Fully known and fully loved. Accepted. Each of us is individually unique and individually known.
Will you pause and try to imagine God’s love for you this way?
Among the many truths provided in the Bible, this one deserves our full acceptance.
