Today’s Encouragement is, “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 NLT

Faith –

The Amplified bible expounds this verse as, “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”

The entire chapter of Hebrews 11 describes the people of God who lived by Faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). [As you read this chapter, speak “Faith” each time you encounter it, and continue reading through 12:2, which identifies Jesus as “the author and perfecter of our Faith.”]

Did you hear that?  Jesus authored, wrote, created, and formed our Faith… and not only did He bring Faith to life…He Perfected our Faith! (Hebrews 12:2)

We try to have faith and believe, but we still struggle sometimes. As we know so clearly and painfully, we fail—often. But my friend, reread God’s word. Our Faith is not perfect, but Jesus (not us) has perfected (already) our imperfect Faith!

Remember the one requirement to be saved?  It is only this – “Believe in Jesus!” (Acts 16:31). Then, my friend, He does the rest!  He completes our incomplete faith!  His perfection perfects our imperfection.  We stand before God – beside Jesus! His righteousness, His perfectly right, complete, and all-encompassing relationship with God… becomes ours…It has already and is now.  He is our Righteousness by Faith! (Romans 9:30)

Because:

We live by faith in Jesus, the Son of God. (Galatians 2:20)

Father, thank You for fulfilling everything we lack. You fulfill our every need, even our Faith.
