Remains Forever –
Most of us want to be up-to-date, aware, and high-tech, knowing the latest information about… whatever interests us. Whether it’s technology, news, politics, gadgets, or gossip, we want to be in on it! We even try to one-up each other with minutes-newer info!
This world certainly is changing! Nations rise and fall. The seasons change.
So, what can we depend on? What is stable? Trustworthy? Unchanging?
Only this, my friend… the Word of God, His Good News.
Whether you believe life on earth is billions or thousands of years old, God’s Word, His message, never changes.
When asked to summarize his beliefs in a single sentence, a famous theologian replied, “Jesus loves Me; this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”
Eternal Truth is in our Bible; it is unchanging, reliable, wise, and perfect. Read it, believe it. Build your life upon it. Everything else will fade away – grass, flowers, ideas, and people.
Father God, we sometimes become overwhelmed by the speed of change in our world. Help us return daily to Your unchanging Truth, which never grows old.
