Clothe Yourselves –
All the advice, admonition, and counsel from God’s Word is timeless and still perfectly applicable to our busy techno-lives today.
Clothe yourselves with Love – This is Christian love for others, kindness, patience, and compassion for the people we live with, work with, and bump into.
Let Jesus’ Peace rule your hearts – Notice that we allow this peace, and we don’t force it or fight for it. The Spirit of God, which lives within each believer, brings His Peace, but we must allow it! We must Let His Peace rule our lives. That means getting yourself out of the way and surrendering to God’s will and His Peace. After all, we are called to His Peace!
And always be Thankful! – Enough said! Choose to Thank God for everything! This is wisdom and our proper perspective always! Even in our worst moments… Thank God! It can change our outlook, even our circumstances. And still, amid our greatest despair, we are victorious – when we are at Peace, loving others and thanking God!
Father, help us always choose Love, Peace, and Thankfulness. You’ve freely given us salvation and eternal life; everything else is a bonus!
