God’s Mysterious Plan

Today’s Encouragement is, “I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:2b-3 NLT

God’s Mysterious Plan –

Is Christ Himself! 

We know God has good plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11), and here, specifically, God’s mysterious and perfect plan – His gift, freely given to all who believe in Him – is Christ Himself! 

My friend, it isn’t only knowing about Jesus; it isn’t only knowledge of His teaching, acceptance of the truths He spoke, not only the awareness that He lived, died, returned to life, and still lives today.  It isn’t only the belief that He came to save anyone who believes in Him and to give them eternal life.  It isn’t only faith that He is God’s Son and worthy of worship, honor, and glory…

It is Christ Himself!  All of Him, who He is, what He has said and done, is still saying and is still doing!  His earthly life and His eternal glorified life (Revelation 1:12-18).

And all of Christ, all that He is lie all wisdom and knowledge. 

And in Him alone are found Hope, Life, Salvation, Peace, Joy, Strength – Every Good and Perfect thing… is in Christ! (James 1:17)

Almighty Creator God, we cannot thank You enough for Your wonderful, mysterious plan – for Christ!  For all He has done, will do, and all that He is!  Help us to continually learn and know Jesus – our Savior, Master, and Friend!
