Today’s Encouragement is, “But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News.” Colossians 1:23a NLT
Continue To Believe –
And What is this truth? Verse 22 reads, “Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.”
God has done this, through Jesus, for everyone who believes! He has (already) reconciled us to Himself, brought us into His Own Presence, and made us Holy, Blameless, and Faultless as we stand before Him.
Imagine standing before God, fully aware of our sin-filled nature… and yet – being completely Holy, Blameless, and Faultless – only because of our faith in Jesus!
Not what we have done or not done, only because of our faith!
Will we continue to believe? If there were no danger of forgetting or weakening in belief, there would be no need for this admonition… Continue to Believe!
Father, help us continue to believe, strengthen and deepen our faith, and help us grow spiritually closer to You.
