His Home

Today’s Encouragement is, “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him.” Ephesians 3:17a NLT

His Home – 

As we trust in Him, Christ makes his home in our hearts. 

And – as if that’s not enough! He prepares a place for each of us in His Father’s home!   

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? John 14:2 NLT

During this life, Jesus makes His home in our hearts! And –

In the next life, eternity, we move into His home! 

Both now and forever, we are with Him, at Home with Him.  He lives here, with us, in our place for now; we live there with Him, in His place for eternity.  That’s relationship, commitment, closeness, friendship, and family.  

Now, please don’t miss this point; this has already begun!  Already, now, Jesus is NOW making His home in our hearts.  There’s no rite of passage here, no ‘if we’re good enough’ test.  Reread the verse – we trust Him, and then, He moves in!!! 

He said this in other ways also, like this – “And be sure of this: I am with you always” Matthew 28:20b NLT

Thank You, Father, for making our hearts worthy of Your presence; we never could. Help us believe that You truly do—You live in our hearts, now and always.
